The STIHL TS 420 is a compact and robust 3.2kW cut-off machine designed for 350mm cutting wheels. Featuring a long-life filter system with cyclone pre-separation, this machine makes on-site maintenance unnecessary, allowing you to work longer between servicing intervals.
With extremely low vibration levels of just 3.9m/s², the TS 420 reduces operator fatigue during extended use. The high-performance engine with stratified charge system delivers reliable power, while the compact design and optimised balance provide excellent cutting and guide characteristics for precise, controlled cuts.
Fitted as standard with a powerful 14" / 350mm composite resin cutting wheel which has very good cutting performance, however we recommend fitting with a D-SB90 diamond cutting wheel for longer and more intensive jobs. The machine features ElastoStart for easy starting, along with a primer pump and decompression valve. The bayonet filler cap allows for tool-free opening, making refuelling quick and convenient.
The TS 420 can be hand-held for maximum flexibility or used with the FW 20 cart for extended cutting operations. Supplied with an abrasive cutting wheel, this cut-off machine is ready to tackle demanding cutting jobs in construction, demolition and infrastructure work.
