The Mountfield 1538H is a hydrostatic garden tractor built for larger gardens, combining a 452cc STIGA ST 500 engine with pedal-operated hydrostatic transmission for smooth, effortless control across the full mowing session.
The 98cm twin-blade cutting deck covers ground efficiently, with 7 cutting height positions ranging from 25–80mm. The 240-litre rear-mounted grass collector can be emptied from the seat without stopping. A mulching plug is included if you prefer to return finely chopped clippings to the lawn as a natural fertiliser. Deck cleaning is straightforward via the built-in washing link – connect a hose, turn on the water, and engage the blades.
