Built with a robust sheet steel deck and a generous 51 cm cutting width, the RMA 253 T offers excellent coverage for efficient mowing. The single-point height adjustment lets you quickly set your preferred cut between 20–100 mm to suit different grass conditions.

AK System battery power with dual slots

Part of STIHL's AK System range, the RMA 253 T is powered by interchangeable AK 30 S batteries that work across the entire tool range. The powerhead features two battery slots, allowing you to quickly switch to a second battery when the first runs out – no waiting for recharges mid-job. On a full charge with the recommended AK 30 S battery, you'll mow lawns up to 275 m².

Four versatile mowing modes

Adapt to any task with four cutting options (always refer to your owner's manual before switching modes):

• Cut & collect – attach the grass catcher for tidy collection
• Cut & drop – remove the catcher to leave clippings on the lawn
• Side discharge – use the integrated deck flap for rapid dispersal
• Mulch – add the multi-blade and mulching attachment for fine nutrient recycling

Comfort-focused design

The ergonomic mono-handlebar provides easy access to the 55-litre grass catcher box for effortless removal and emptying. The built-in fill level indicator shows exactly when it's time to empty, while the catcher box opens fully for quick disposal.

Height-adjustable and foldable for compact storage, the sturdy mono-handlebar is backed by a 10-year domestic warranty for complete peace of mind.
