Professional single-sided hedge trimmer for precise topiary work
The HSA 150 T battery-powered single-sided hedge trimmer is an extremely powerful and robust professional tool designed for the most demanding landscaping and garden maintenance work. Comparable in performance to the petrol-powered HS 87, it delivers constant power with low vibrations and exceptionally quiet operation.
Please note: This model is available as a tool only without battery and charger. If you don't already have a battery or charger, please add these to your basket.
Powered by the AP System
Part of the STIHL AP System, the HSA 150 T runs on a 36 V lithium-ion AP battery. With the recommended AP 200 S battery, you'll get 90-140 minutes of working time on a single charge with perfect balance for comfortable extended use. The AP 300 S or AP 500 S batteries extend working time further, though they will increase overall weight.
Designed for ornamental and fine-leaf hedges
Ideal for cutting taxus, buxus, privet, and other ornamental hedges where a particularly neat, accurate, and sharp finish is essential. The single-sided cutting blade features 30 mm tooth spacing for precision work.
Adjustable blade speed for optimal results
High blade speed prevents too much material from dropping into the cutters. Adjust between 3,900, 4,500, or 5,000 rpm to best suit the topiary you're working on. The new gearbox system works in perfect harmony with the EC motor to deliver extremely high cutting force and quick acceleration to the required blade speed.
Professional ergonomics and versatility
The battery slot in the tool eliminates the need to wear a battery on your belt or back. The rotating handle allows you to tackle hedges of all shapes and sizes from any angle, making it easy to work on both the top and sides of hedges. IPX4 water resistance rating means you can work in all adverse weather conditions.
Anti-jamming function
If the cutters get stuck on thicker branches, the anti-jamming function helps release the jam. Simply release the trigger and pull it again - the blades will move in the opposite direction to clear the blockage.
Wildlife safety reminder
Always check your work area for wildlife before starting. Check for nesting birds before trimming hedges and look for small animals such as hedgehogs before trimming long grass.
