The STIHL HLA 86 is a telescopic long-reach hedge trimmer designed for professional users, ideal for landscapers working on tall hedges where extra length is needed. Perfect for cutting, trimming and maintenance work, this 260-330 cm telescopic tool with 115° adjustable head and 20" / 50 cm blade length delivers exceptional versatility.
Powered by a 36 V lithium-ion battery, the HLA 86 has excellent balance which provides less fatigue during operation. An ergonomic control handle with self-resetting Ergo lever means both left- and right-handed users can use the tool comfortably and efficiently. As a battery-powered tool, it's quiet too, meaning you can use it for work in noise-sensitive areas such as neighbourhoods, hospitals or care homes.
The 50 cm / 20" laser-cut double-sided, double-edged, diamond ground blades can be adjusted by up to 115° (-45° to +70°) and provide a clean cutting pattern thanks to the high acceleration of the EC engine. The head of the HLA 86 can be folded flat for easy transport, reducing the total length to 187 cm, which makes it easy to transport for those working in garden maintenance businesses. Plus, the tool is IPX4 rated, so it can be used in rain and wet conditions too.
When used with the recommended AP 200 S battery, the HLA 86 has a working time of up to 144 minutes. What's more, this battery provides perfect balance when used, making work even more comfortable!
