The BGA 160 is a battery-powered blower in STIHL's AP System, designed for professional landscapers who demand excellent manoeuvrability combined with plenty of blowing performance. With a maximum blowing force of 21 Newtons, the BGA 160 sits above the BGA 86 and below the BGA 250 handheld leaf blowers, and outperforms both the BG 56 and BG 86 petrol handheld models.

The BGA 160 combines a compact size with lightweight construction and impressive power, making it ideal for working quickly around tight obstacles when clearing small areas of leaves and hedge clippings. This makes it an essential tool for every landscaper's fleet.
Ergonomic Design for All-Day Comfort
Suitable for both left and right-handed users, the BGA 160 features an angled handle that prevents strain on your wrist and arm whilst keeping the tool steady even at maximum power. The battery's location underneath the impeller and handle ensures perfect balance, with no tipping required to achieve the right angle.
Intelligent Power Control
The variable speed trigger includes a built-in boost mode for temporarily increasing to maximum power when clearing stubborn patches of wet leaves. Choose from three power settings to match the blowing power to the job at hand, maximising battery efficiency. Cruise control can be engaged for longer jobs, and a shoulder harness can be attached to take the weight from your hand.
Quiet Operation
As it's battery-powered, you don't need to wear ear defenders when using the BGA 160, making it ideal for noise-sensitive areas and reducing operator fatigue.
Impressive Battery Performance
When paired with the recommended AP 300 S battery (sold separately), the BGA 160 delivers 15-110 minutes of working time, depending on the power level used.
