The Mountfield 1738H Twin is a hydrostatic garden tractor powered by a STIGA ST 600 Twin 586cc twin-cylinder engine, designed for larger gardens and paddocks up to 2.5 acres. Hydrostatic transmission gives smooth, progressive speed control via foot pedal, with electromagnetic blade engagement for precise, effortless operation.
The 98cm twin-blade cutting deck covers ground efficiently, with 7 cutting height positions ranging from 30–90mm. The 300-litre rear grass collector can be emptied from the seat. A mulching plug is included if you prefer to return finely chopped clippings to the lawn as a natural fertiliser. Deck cleaning is straightforward via the built-in washing link – connect a hose, turn on the water, and engage the blades.
A towing hitch is included as standard, with a range of towed accessories available separately for year-round use. Backed by a 5-year extended warranty (T&Cs apply).
