The STIHL TSA 230.1 is a 9" (230 mm) battery-powered cut-off machine in the STIHL AP System, designed for professionals working in construction, hardscaping and pipework. Exceptionally easy to handle thanks to its compact and well-balanced design, this tool is ideal for making short cuts on paving stones, brickwork and steel.

The TSA 230.1 delivers improved cutting performance compared to the TSA 230.0 model, with a higher power output of 2.1 kW and faster overall cutting speed. This extends the types of jobs and applications the cut-off machine can carry out. The machine comes as standard with a powerful 9" / 230 mm composite resin cutting wheel which has very high cutting performance, however we recommend fitting the TSA 230.1 with a D-SB90 diamond cutting wheel for longer and more intensive jobs.

As a battery-powered tool, the TSA 230.1 has low noise emissions during cutting and features a powerful low-maintenance EC motor which operates almost wear-free, is quiet and has smooth running with low vibrations. The motor ensures the tool operates at optimum performance throughout the entire battery charge. Thanks to its emission-free operation, the TSA 230.1 can be used inside buildings.

The integrated water connection is easy to set up, while a fixed magnesium guard with integrated water guide is reinforced by stainless steel, providing a clear view of the cutting wheel during use. An integrated spindle lock makes for quick and easy changing of the cutting wheel – simply press the spindle lock, loosen the retaining screw and then tighten it again. The TSA 230.1 must be used with the AP 300 S battery for maximum performance. On a full charge with the AP 300 S, the TSA 230.1 has a working time of 20 minutes.
