RMA 243 cordless lawn mower (tool only): 41 cm / 16" push-along mower for homeowners
The STIHL RMA 243 is a battery-powered push-along lawn mower ideal for homeowners tackling small to medium-sized lawns. As part of STIHL's new 2 Series battery mower range, it combines lightweight construction with quiet operation and innovative features that make lawn care straightforward for home gardeners.
Built with a durable sheet steel deck, the RMA 243 features a 41 cm cutting width and convenient single-point height adjustment ranging from 20 to 100 mm. This mower operates on the AK System platform and runs on an AK 20 battery, which is compatible with other tools in the range. The powerhead includes two battery slots, allowing you to swap to a fresh battery when the first is depleted. With a fully charged AK 20 battery, you can mow lawns up to 230 m².
The RMA 243 offers four versatile mowing options (no additional tools needed, though we recommend consulting the owner's manual):
• Cut & collect using the fitted grass catcher box
• Cut & drop by removing the grass catcher box
• Side discharge via the integrated deck flap
• Mulch using the multi-blade and mulching attachment
The comfort mono-handlebar design provides easy access to the grass catcher box for quick removal and emptying. A fill level indicator shows when the box needs emptying, while the 52-litre capacity box features an ergonomic design that opens fully for fast disposal. The robust mono-handlebar is both height-adjustable and foldable for compact storage, and comes with a 10-year domestic warranty.
