Compact, lightweight pole pruner for high branches and hedge maintenance

Compact and lightweight, the HTA 30 pole pruner is the first of its kind in the AS System, ideal for pruning high branches, removing dead wood and maintaining hedges. Powered by two interchangeable AS 2 lithium-ion batteries, which are compatible with other STIHL AS System tools including leaf blowers, grass trimmers, hedge trimmers, garden pruners, powered secateurs and more.

Tool-free telescopic adjustment up to 280 cm

The STIHL HTA 30 features a telescopic shaft that adjusts without tools, extending to a total length of up to 280 centimetres — perfect for reaching taller trees and shrubs. Weighing just 3.6 kg, it's incredibly lightweight and easy to handle thanks to the soft-grip handle. The rubberised grip ensures comfortable and secure control during use.

Precision cutting with 1/4" PM3 chain and 20 cm guide bar

Fitted with a STIHL 1/4" PM3 saw chain and a 20 cm STIHL Light 01 guide bar, the HTA 30 delivers clean, precise cuts on branches up to 17 centimetres in diameter. The compact cutting head provides excellent visibility of the guide bar and makes manoeuvring in tight spaces effortless.

Quick chain tensioning and simple lubrication

Chain tensioning is quick and intuitive with the spring-loaded mechanism under the sprocket cover — simply fold out the handle and rotate the cover to automatically adjust chain tension. To oil the chain, apply lubricant directly onto the chain itself.

Compact storage and quiet operation

For transport and storage, the telescopic shaft shortens from 280 centimetres to 190 centimetres, making the HTA 30 easy to carry and store. It runs quietly with low vibration, allowing you to work comfortably without hearing protection. A charge status indicator with LEDs lets you monitor remaining battery power at a glance.

Battery performance

Working time with 2x AS 2 batteries is up to 28 minutes / 140 cuts.
