The STIHL HTA 160 battery-powered telescopic pole pruner is designed for professional use in forestry, landscaping and orchards. With a telescopic shaft that extends quickly up to 405 cm, it handles pruning, thinning and general maintenance of branches up to 20 cm in diameter. Battery power means low noise emissions, making it perfect for noise-sensitive environments like hospitals, schools and residential areas.

Powerful AP System battery technology

Powered by lithium-ion batteries from the STIHL AP System, the HTA 160 features a powerful EC motor and a lightweight yet robust magnesium transmission. For maximum cutting performance, it comes fitted with a 3/8" P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) chain as standard, with the option to fit a 1/4" P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) chain — ideal for fruit tree maintenance.

Lightweight cutting head for easy manoeuvrability

The low weight of the cutting head makes it easier to manoeuvre between cuts. A sturdy branch hook is fitted for gripping and removing loose cuttings. The control handle features an LED display for convenient monitoring and control of the pole pruner.

Protective features for extended service life

The HTA 160 comes with a protective foot as standard to prevent the motor casing from making contact with the ground. An air filter on the housing keeps the engine cool during work, improving the service life of the pole pruner.

Adjustable length and smart connectivity

The HTA 160 has a total length range of 285 cm to 405 cm. It also features a mounting point for the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A on the power tool housing for enhanced connectivity and monitoring.
