The STIHL FSA 400 is the first battery-powered clearing saw from STIHL. Designed for professionals in landscaping and grounds maintenance, it delivers power output comparable to the FS 411 C-EM petrol clearing saw. Ideal for clearing tough grass, shredding plant growth, and felling small trees, with low noise emissions perfect for noise-sensitive areas.

Powerful and adjustable performance
Features a powerful EC motor with speed adjustment on the control handle, offering three different speed levels depending on your work. Automatic RPM adjustment ensures energy-efficient operation - RPM increases to 6,900 with BrushCut or PolyCut mowing heads and reduces to 5,000 with the AutoCut head.
Ergonomic design for professional use
Fitted with a bike handle for comfortable working during clearing jobs. The folding clamp makes it quick and easy to adjust the bike handle to your preferred ergonomic position. Comes supplied with an ADVANCE PLUS universal harness for extended comfort during long work sessions.
Reduced vibration and enhanced durability
The STIHL anti-vibration system reduces vibrations, protecting your muscles and joints during use. The air filter on the housing keeps the engine cool, improving service life and is easy to remove and clean. IPX4 certification means you can work in all weather conditions.
Professional-grade construction
Durable components including sturdy battery casing design, stainless steel filter, and large 28 mm diameter aluminium shaft make this the ideal choice for professionals. Features a mounting point for the STIHL Smart Connector 2 A on the power tool housing.
