The Mountfield SP185 Li takes the trusted performance of the SP185 petrol mower and reimagines it for a cleaner, quieter era. If you’ve been thinking about making the switch away from petrol – no more fuel cans, no more fumes, no more pull-start frustration – this is the mower to do it with.
At its heart is a 48V brushless motor paired with a 5Ah battery, delivering the power needed to drive both the cutting deck and the self-propelled function across lawns up to 550m². The 46cm cutting width covers ground efficiently, and six cutting heights between 22–65mm are adjusted via a single central lever, so dialling in the right finish takes seconds. A 60-litre grass collector with a full indicator means fewer stops to empty it, and an anti-scalp comb keeps the cut smooth and consistent even where the ground isn’t perfectly level.
When you’re done, fold the handles down and it tucks away neatly. When you’re ready to go again, just put the battery on charge – that’s the extent of the maintenance. One battery and charger are included as standard, and there’s provision for a second battery if you need extended runtime (sold separately).
