The Mountfield MTR 20 Li is a lightweight cordless grass trimmer that makes tidying lawn edges and awkward corners straightforward and comfortable. Part of the Mountfield 20V battery range, it comes supplied with a 2Ah ePower 20V lithium-ion battery and charger, giving up to 20 minutes of runtime on a single charge – enough to keep a smaller garden looking sharp.
The telescopic shaft adjusts across 6 positions over a 170mm range, so the tool can be set to the right length for the user’s height. Combined with the soft grip handle and adjustable loop handle, it’s comfortable to use even on more demanding trimming jobs. The compact battery placement keeps the weight well-balanced, and the streamlined design leaves plenty of room to manoeuvre around plants, borders, and garden features.
A 150W brushed motor runs at up to 8000rpm, with intelligent electronics that maintain full motor speed for the duration of the battery charge. The adjustable moving head can be angled to reach areas with obstacles, and a space bracket folds out or down for precise trimming around plants and other objects. The single line manual feed head is simple to use and easy to reload.
