The Mountfield MC3720 is a 2-stroke petrol chainsaw powered by a 37.2cc engine running on a 50:1 petrol/oil mixture. It comes fitted with a 40cm (16") Oregon sprocket nose guidebar and a 3/8" chain with a 0.050" pitch, making it a capable and well-balanced saw for a range of cutting tasks.
Key features include an automatic and adjustable chain lubrication system, a side-position chain tensioner for straightforward adjustment, a double-acting chain brake for safety, anti-vibration mountings to reduce fatigue during extended use, and a primer pump for easy starting.
Weighing just 4.65kg (excluding bar and chain), the MC3720 has a good power-to-weight ratio and a rated noise level of 110 dB(A). Supplied with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty.
